2026-2027 Winter Wahoos Waitlist
Thank you for your interest in Winter Wahoos 2026-2027! The program is now full, however, we are accepting Waitlist Applications. Please complete the information below, and if space becomes available, we will contact you with registration information.
This is a teen-led developmental swim program held at Audrey Moore Rec Center. We maintain a low swimmer to coach ratio, and are scheduled to hold 27 practices.
To be eligible to participate in Winter Wahoos, a swimmer must meet all three criteria:
1. Swam for Wakefield Chapel Wahoos during the 2026 Summer Season
2. Participated and received a legal time during at least one B Meet
3. Be between the ages of 5-12 on June 1, 2027 (swimmers who will participate in age groups 11-12 or younger next summer!)
Winter Wahoos will start on September 12, 2026, and conclude on May 15, 2027. Practice will take place on Saturdays, 3:00-4:00pm. We will not have practice 10/17, 11/28, 12/5, 12/12, 12/26, 1/2, 1/16, 1/30, & 3/27.
Registration fees are $400 for each swimmer. Initial registration is capped at a maximum of 24 swimmers.
